Status

Twilight is presently in an
Alpha-release state. It is self-hosting, has a minimal standard
library with basic functionality required to support parsing and
generating the language, a number of standard container types, and
essential file handling. Most of the feature set for the base
language is implemented with a few significant exceptions, those
being dynamic invocation, introspection, and multi-threading. Once
these are complete the project will move to a Beta status. The
standard library is also lacking significant functionalities such as
for time and date manipulation, network, database, web and a gui
interface, and so on. At the same time, the language is easy to
learn and to use productively, and with community interest it will
mature quickly.
